The Forty Miles FCSS is also able to inform the public of available funding resources. The Forty Mile Regional FCSS provides funding to other agencies wishing to offer preventative programming which fall within our mandate.
Eligible services that may be provided with FCSS funding must:
Be of a preventative nature
Help people develop:
independence and coping skills
an awareness of social needs
-
interpersonal and group skills
Help people and communities assume responsibility for decisions and actions which affect them
Provide supports that help sustain people as active participants in the community
Partnerships are fundamental to community building. The Forty Mile FCSS also provides funding to other agencies wishing to offer preventative programming which fall within our mandate.
